Clinical Chemistry I

Clinical Chemistry I covers the biochemical analysis of blood and serum for diagnostic purposes. Topics include laboratory assessment of carbohydrate metabolism (glucose, HbA1c), kidney function (creatinine, urea, electrolytes), liver function tests (bilirubin, AST, ALT, albumin), and lipid profiles. Students learn spectrophotometric and enzymatic analytical methods, reference range interpretation, and quality control procedures in the clinical chemistry laboratory.
