Social Policy Practice

Field Education I (Practicum I) is the first supervised field placement, providing students with beginning practice experience in a social work agency or community organization. Under the supervision of a qualified field instructor, students develop competencies in client engagement, bio-psycho-social assessment, service planning, intervention skills, documentation, and professional conduct. Weekly group supervision sessions supplement individual field supervision.
